Here all the strips of card have been added using Uhu general purpose contact adhesive- the edges of the strips were painted before fixing in place and then they were all given a final coat of paint followed by another coat of varnish - The motor can be seen through the door - 2 November 2006

The four main body panels have now been assembled and glued together - The two balsa strips at the top have been planed to the curve of the roof and a start has been made on the strips for the panelling - The green paint was mixed from semi gloss water based acrylics - 30 October 2006Previous | NextThe interior is now complete - No steam engine in here ! - This tram is powered by diesel - The engine cover (which covers the I P Engineering budget chassis' motor) with access doors can be seen in the centre with the air intake off towards the top of picture - The control panels at each end include an illuminated dial - 8 November 2006
