The driver is a modified "Model Town" figure - The legs were the wrong shape and length so they have been cut and the reduced pieces have been refitted with copper wire - The finished driver will be the right shape and size to allow him to be easily seated in the driving seat by passing him through the open windows of the tram - 14 November 2006

The bodywork is nearing completion with the exhaust stack fitted to the one end - Detailing to the side skirts and a roof plus couplings along with lights are still to be added - 14 November 2006Previous | NextThe gaps have been filled with air drying modelling clay - Once dry and after a few adjustments using a fine file the driver is given several coats of primer - There are still a few holes but these will be filled when painted with acrylic colours - 14 November 2006
