The firebox end of the boiler has been made using several layers of card - To add weight to the model white metal was heated just enough to allow it to pour into the firebox - Care has to be taken not to over heat the metal or it would set fire to the card! - 12 June 2007Previous | NextSimple detailing was added to the cab interior before fitting the cab back and roof - The brake was turned from wood and the forward reverse lever fabricated from card - 21 June 2007
